Kate Tuomala, Owner of Audiology of the Sandhills, has won Audigy’s Maxwell Leadership Award for exceptional service to patients.
The award, which recognizes exemplary leadership particularly in supporting teamwork and embracing and empowering other employees, was presented during Audigy’s Owner Summit March 14-18 on Florida’s Amelia Island.

Audiology professionals from around North America gathered for Audigy’s annual summit, which highlights hearing-technology innovations; industry trends; regulatory changes; and best practices in business operations, team development, marketing, and more.
This year’s program theme, “Impact: Your Teams, Your Patients, Your Future,” focused on creating remarkable experiences from the perspectives of practice owners, their staff, and the community members they serve.
